Megan Prom Night  escort 14 bikes to take one young lady to her prom

The number of bikers volunteering to take Megan to her prom night was not the issue the problem was managing the group of 14 bikes that turned up.

The trip from Basingstoke to the Basingstoke Country Hotel, Hook was a small ride out for our team of bikers but the reception as 14 bikes turned up to deliver one young lady was over whelming with applause from other school mates and parents at our arrival.

The local press got in the act and thought it worth to print an article on the occasion - our thanks to the Basingstoke Gazette and also in mentioning our sponsored charity.

MAG Basingstoke had a collection at the event collecting from parents, teenagers and hotel staff for the St Michaels Hospice in Basingstoke.

A final presentation was given at MAG Basingstoke weekly meeting to Megan and thanks from her and her parents for us organising the escort.

A presentation of £210 was handed over to representatives' of St Michaels Hospice that was collected on the night of the run and the weekly voluntary contributions for the club fighting fund was also donated to the cause.
